"Is it ever too late to go back to your first love?"

Pink Candy Kiss is one of my favourite mangas ongoing right now. The story doesn't shy away from how messy and complicated this type of reconciliation and how it can hurt people around them. Especially from Ema's friend, Kanon, who constantly does remind her that these feelings exist, but understand how those feelings impact more than just you. Mixed Feelings

6.5/10

I think the way this manga set up the nuances of first loves, whether to let go or to keep going with the present, who loves you and who will love you, and everything in between was wonderfully done. I like that they did show that Hikaru's marriage to Harutaka was not one of love, but one of circumstance. Murmur (Manga) add
Preliminary (18/25 chp)
Murmur as it stands is currently one of the better toxic yuris out there in regards to Manhwa. While there are some moments that can be questionable, which is understandable, the author doesn't shy away from making them multi-dimension through those moments. As each chapter gets released, more of the characters resentment is explained in a way that makes sense and stays in tune with their characters motivations. I am excited to see where the rest of this series goes but as it currently sits, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a more messy, toxic dynamic between their main couple.

My Joy (Manga) add
Spoiler
I cannot begin to express how discombobulating and pointless this way.

Joy was the true villian of the story. Girl wanted to have her cake and eat it in bed with Hye-Yeon. She knew she had to choose one of them, neither Namsu nor Hye-Yeon wanted to be in a poly relationship nor wanted to share Joy. But guess what!! Joy said fuck all that. What's extra annoying is you don't find out that she basically decided to keep both until closer to the end AFTER we find out that she slept with Hye-Yeon. Half of the time you did not know what was going on. ...
