Jigokuraku S2 for me was a bit more enjoyable for me compared to S1. As much as I liked S1, the exposition and general lore was being established more so than S2. This allowed S2 to breathe and give us a great nonstop joy ride. I couldn't stop watching from the moment I started S2. finish things, but at least with Jigokuraku, there is a constant flow to the anime to allow me to accept these separate seasons. If it were boring, then I might be more down on the series.

- S2 is definitely a more fight focused season, but the story still develops and adds mystery.

- I started this at like 1 am, and would have finished it but I'm old, I watched the last hour the moment I woke up though, which is a good sign when an anime isn't a slog, and encourages you to watch it.
I'd recommend Jigokuraku S2 because there is a lot to enjoy in these 12 episodes. Typically, I'd tell people to wait until the entirety of the anime is finished, but I think Jigokuraku does 12/13 episode seasons well, by having enough meat on the bone so to speak. So, catch up.

Fate/strange Fake unfortunately is a mish mash of nonsense for 13 episodes. It tries too much in too little of a time allowance. The pacing suffers immensely from including too many characters, too many factions, and involving a miniscule amount of fighting for a 13-episode series. I was invested after Fate/strange Fake Whispers of Dawn, but nothing in these 13 episodes resembles Whispers of Dawn. The animation, style, and intensity are all much different from Whispers of Dawn. Animation 9/10
- Its good, but it is a downgrade from Fate/strange Fake Whispers of Dawn in both sharpness and style.
Sound 8/10
- Solid sound design like always with Fate, but not up to the levels of other Fate series, because unfortunately there is more yapping than anything.
Story 2/10
- Fate story is what it is, but on top of that, this time around, there is too many characters, too many factions, and not enough focus. It's a real mess.
Characters 5/10
- Too many of them, with only 13 episodes to learn of them, their stories and ambitions, and it all gets lost. Also, I find so many of the characters to be mid, and fodder that would be dead already in any other mainline Fate story.
Enjoyment 6/10
- I couldn't binge this, it took 4 days, because it simply is not an intriguing story, with bland characters mostly. It's better than Fate/Apocrypha but gives off the same mid vibe.
I do not recommend this to anyone. As of right now, there is no reason to watch this. There are no announcements on a season 2, so how far away is it? It could be years, so why bother? It's half baked.

Date A Live V is okay. After a great season 4, I am a bit let down. Season 4 was intriguing as a story and developed characters really well, but season 5 lacks in both storytelling and character development. I didn't hate it by any means, but I didn't connect with the Mio/Shido relationship. Kurumi is an afterthought, Tohka/Shido has always been mid, but I thought something more would happen. The only relationship I cared about was Reine, and you only get 2 episodes of that development. It sucks that season 4 finally elevated the series, but season 5

brought us back down to earth.
Animation 7/10
- DAL never peaks or valleys when it comes to animation, it's all about the same.
Sound 8/10
- Good BGM and SFX.
Story 5/10
- As a climax finale season, I don't expect much, and we didn't get much. This season felt off with pacing, and substance.
Characters 6/10
- There is a lack of deep relationship building in this season, time was not used properly on a core relationship that felt right. IMO Reine should have been that core. I felt next to nothing with Mio.
Enjoyment 7/10
- All things said, I still enjoy DAL, and even though this wasn't a great season, I still enjoyed most of it.
I can only recommend DAL to its fans, since it is a rather mid harem anime, and unfortunately this season doesn't do enough to recommend it to others outside the fandom.

oujima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai is a fun fight anime that thematically involves the "spirit" in order to parody the supernatural in a natural world. The series does this beautifully, the whole while the watcher understands these protagonists are just humans up against "monsters". thus, creating intrigue and anticipation to how Kamen Rider and the gang can overcome their otherworldly foes. job of laying out the framework for its world and characters, and uses a full season, 24 episodes, the way it should. The tournament arc was my favourite, and unfortunately Tackle vs Kamen Rider was the pinnacle of the series in terms of fights. That being said, the final fight was still good, and the seemingly imbued Kamen Rider, with the full transformation was a great touch. All around, I was happy to have decided to give this a shot. (I watched it because Wuthering Waves had a cinematic that fans referred to as "rider kick", although it reminded me more of Shinji and Asuka kick).
Animation 7/10
- Old school in style, not flashy, not very detailed, but effective in presenting the IP. From the Initial D studio, I believe, so a step up?
Sound 8/10
- The VA was great, music was on point, especially when Tackle theme hits, love it.
Story 5/10
- The story is simple, and works for what it is, it could have done more, but I'm not complaining.
Characters 8/10
- Characters are awesome, with back stories and growth from protagonists and antagonists.
Enjoyment 9/10
- I gave the first 6 episodes a shot, then finished the rest the next night, thoroughly enjoyed the development of this anime.
I would recommend to those on the fence because this is about an old school series that may not appeal to you. I was kind of in the same boat, having never seen Kamen Rider, but knowing generally what it is portraying. I think it's worth the 24-episode investment.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie 1: Mugenjou-hen - Akaza Sairai is a movie. It did its job. It drags a bit at the end. The pacing is what sets Chainsaw Man movie apart from this movie. Where Chainsaw Man ramps up properly, Infinity Castle P1 does the opposite, where we see peaks and valleys, so it suffers from that.
Animation 10/10
- The detail is crazy, some moments are jaw dropping.

- It's fine, BGM needs some flare.

Sousou no Frieren 2nd Season does Frieren things, but, for 10 episodes. The most glaring problem of this season is its length. What season 1 did was mesh 3 mini arcs, and although not every arc was great, the worst arc was eclipsed by a good, and great arc. Season 2 is all by its lonesome self. The substance is not there. As I said earlier, I would skip this season and wait for S3 in hindsight.

Jujutsu Kaisen S3 p1 was fun. It allowed itself to breathe, expanding the lore, introducing more characters, and providing some interesting character story along the way. My one gripe about S2 was it being lacking in the development aspect of the anime. S3 seems to be leveling out the story/character development with the action, so I found S3 to be a perfect blend.

Chainsaw Man Movie: Reze-hen is worthy of a 10 for sure. As a stand-alone story, it's pretty well done, with some interesting questions to be pondered by the characters and audience. I liked that there was at least some substance to the humanity of Chainsaw man and the devils and devil hunters around him. The one thing I would have liked is some broader picture of what exactly we are watching. I get the overall jest of it, but there is no depth presented to us. Kaijuu 8-gou 2nd Season is more of the same as season 1, which isn't a bad thing. It excels with action animation, and sound design and does everything else just fine to squeak by. They season gives glimpses into the past, and that was appreciated. The addition of evolution towards a stronger elite defense force using Kaiju is also a nice touch. The one big downside to this season is the lack of cliffhanger, in exchange for simply leaving the show out to dry during its climax. This is terrible planning by MAPPA. This is not how you do

things properly. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth of its audience and opens you up to criticism. Some may disagree with me, but this "cour" nonsense is affecting studio decisions now to a negative degree. With a series like Kimetsu no Yaiba, things are done properly. They do a season, in completion, they cliffhanger, they do a movie and repeat. THAT's how you do it. You don't just stop halfway.
Animation 8/10

Yofukashi no Uta Season 2 is a solid sequel and holds its charm. Comparing it to the first season, I would say the romance is not advancing the way I would have liked it to. Since we were given a deadline for this romance to flourish, I had expected a lot more romance heavy episodes. We didn't get that at all, and the season lacked that teasing energy.
