I know this show gets compared to Bebop a lot but, Bebop and Champloo are two different beasts
The fight scenes are just as great as Bebop, superbly stylized martial arts, always cool to watch. The music is also such a compliment, amazing tracks throughout the show. The best example of "Japanese Hip Hop + Samurai" that I've ever seen, not that there's that many tho

I decided to watch this one day because, I had no reason to NOT watch one of the most popular animes of all time. I had no expectations, I knew people regarded this very highly but, still had no idea what to expect
It is great, but I only say that because I can get into weird shit done right. Evangelion is definitely peculiar, and it is definitely done right. From the beginning of the show, I often caught myself say, "Wtf". Attack on Titan is definitely an all-timer, a GOAT if you will. The idea is interesting but, the way it's realized is what sells it; on paper it sounds cool but, you need someone to paint the picture. THEY PAINTED THE FUCK OUTTA THAT SHIT. I also gotta add, the world that it's set in, also really sells it and brings it to that next level

A good early 90s anime, nothing special to me, it being 5 episodes helps it stay short and sweet; not wanting more. If you do, you can surely find a show just like this, or at least fairly close. Story isn't all that unique, no surprises, all the characters easily fit a common trope/description, none are that interesting
It's possibly that this could have more "grandiose" or interesting but, i dont think it would be necessary Its fun for what it is, people who like these shows will enjoy it, and will enjoy having another show like this to watch, others will find it "tropey" or "run-of-the-mill", ...

Cool fights, good characters, cool style. I like the pacing as well, didn't feel long, it didn't feel too short either, it never feels like a part is dragging. I thought they were able to do enough in 12 episodes without meandering for too long. It was the perfect short and sweet to me.
The art is gorgeous, it always looks perfect. I loved the characters. I thought the characters that they chose to delve into backstories with were very great. I may rewrite this, been a while since I watched it. So from what I remember:
Entertaining show and lots of fun action. The story isn't very memorable, it doesn't do anything surprising to the viewer. If you're looking for action and some funny moments, this is a great watch. The style, setting, theme all make for a great base for a show. If you're looking for a fun movie to watch, this is a good one. It's funny, has "action" but is very sparse, and has a fun and pretty engaging story to follow along, it's somewhat emotional, some moments you might call sad or wholesome. All the characters have their own story, that ends up contributing to their main goal. Most things end up resolved in the end, a pretty happy ending. Makes for a great Christmas movie, not really appropriate for the whole family but, something to watch with a friend maybe. No deep meaning, or profound ideas, or anything outstanding that push it to
