It's not really an 8 but more of in between 8 and 9 but Cowboy Bebop is sure a great anime. No anime carries a charm and identity unlike Cowboy. The breathtaking music and soundtrack having jazz to a sci fi spaghetti mixup with cinema references make sure why it was such a hit in the west. Spike is undoubtedly the most fascinating character in this and I love how some of the dialogues are given to him in this series. He's effortlessly cool but also doesn't shy up to be silly and gets knocked out quite a lot (that one time when bro got absolutely smacked by a dude who didn't even have a bounty lmfao). His past is the most interesting aspect and the show knows it well and executes it quite seamlessly (the end fight did felt it ended quite early though). Jet is a character who claims to be tough and not be shaken by the past and acts the opposite. He's a male tsundere LOL but despite being opposites with Spike their dynamic goes so well as if they have been together since childhood and the banter gives some fun moments. Faye is a great addition and has her own problems we get explored later which makes her such a fascinating character. Ed (idk why anime does this dawg) but she's this carefree free spirited little kid with Ein as the dog who gets the least of importance since he's a dog.
The cinematography is impeccable, the animation's top notch, the action and the way its shown is so fluid and a style soemthing like JJK is replicating in its own and the music has no complaints. Some typical banter bounty hunter episodes and a little bit of more insight of the characters would've made this show even faultless but i dont regret watching this anime and is clearly a gem indeed.

Well Steins gate sure lives up to its name. Time travel is always a concept that is a very convenient way of making the author seem pretentious but Steins Gate is actually smart. It's an anime that pretty much makes you experience everything, and with the final episodes being genuinely perfect and an ending that did surprise me but quite fittign and satisfactory made me love this show even more. I liked the episodes quite a lot, I get it. The first half of the anime is however very VERY NECESSARY since going through those slow burn patient moments pay off the 2nd half so much and make you so much emotionally invested into the series.
The characters like Okabe that seem an edgy wannabe cool scientist who's kinda corny turns up into this absolute great of a character that's so well written and thought. There's some foreshadowing too that's always cool to appreciate. People complain about the repetitive nature of the narrative of a couple episodes in the 2nd half which I think extends to the show making us feel Okabe and what he goes. It makes you happy, sad, funny and quite confusing with the quite smart and off guard twists it throws but for all that it IS NECESSARY to go through the first 11 episodes (which is a minority since it's one of the highest rated animes oat tho-). The time travel complexity and the concept of world lines, time loops are also handled quite well and never seem too complex for someone to understand. Sure you may argue of the paradoxes but it's just better to keep the show to how it is. A great fucking anime that deserves every praise it gets, with some really good main and side characters. Kurisu is literally THE TSUNDERE lol

One of the all time classics and milestones of 90s anime. Neon Genesis was more of a necessity than a wish, to try and figure out what makes this anime so special. 4 days and 26 episodes later with the movie left to be seen, I do affirm with the majority and understand why this anime is so special. Evangelion is less about evas which are the only robots capable of defeating something called an "angel" which when undefeated can destroy the damn world but about the inner turmoil and the psychological breakdown of the characters.

understand the characters, we may not relate to any but we understand WHY that certain character responds like that. Its these inner insecurities and fear that is captured really well. The animation is fluid and the switch of styles and static frames for over a minute is always appreciated. Man 2d animation and the denying of 3d cgi over ANYTHING will be missed, the colord are so vibrant and pop out and the framing is exceptional. What makes this anime not become a genuine one of a kind masterpiece is solely because of how repetitive the events take place for each and every episode after some point till ep 15.
Although the massive character exposition dump about the Shinji, Asuka , Rei, Akagi etc is actually self sustained it's the length and the time given to us to take all that knowledge is what becomes too overwhelming at some point. A 23 min ep can only bring how much justice to dozens of characters. The show still feels incomplete and filled with MASSIVE plot holes (the reason why the movie exists iguess) we never get to know the origins of the stuff taking and it only focuses about the character's turmoil which is necessary but I do feel its important to have a higher context of about the events, the Eva. There is massive messaging about religion and the constant Christian background being used during fights which I couldn't get but the show can't expect everyone to get all that can it? If not for that the show might've been a masterpiece but due to these inclinations in its storytelling and pacing that bugged me it's more of a 8.5/10. Let's see about the movie.

I don't read a lot of yuri, mostly because whateva few I've read so far have had ASS plots and although great artstyle, hot girls and just good sex (which is mostly jus fingering) there's nothing more to really root for. Murmur is actually a fun yuri in this regard cause I wasn't expecting for a manhwa to have such gorgeous art style, HOT AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN THAT MAKE ME DROOL, one dude in this entire story who's sole job is for us to hate on bro and genuinely satisfying action for any gooners out there to ACTUALLY have a decent plot which does keep

you engaged beyond the style aspects.
The manhwa slowly but progressively fleshes out the characters, Their actions, the power of their memories and misunderstandings surprisingly effectively. Jin-ah and Heo Jina actually have a certain charm together which makes their back and forth love hate confusing relationship fun and actually curious for you to see take place. It's not all black and white and characters have different emotions and perspectives they go through which will make people root for different characters by the end. This also has the less controversial aspects (only being at the beginning) but again just the right amount of toxicity revenge saga you'd expect.
The plot is still really predictable and not like you don't know what's likely to happen but again it just does whatever the job the manhwa has been assigned to. Galma has really understood even a decent enough story to carry forward is enough for people to instantly get hooked to this cause everything else is just so cute and perfect. There's comedy and it does give you a chuckle because of the whole art style shift, chibi, miniscule cartoonish ahh transitions so even that's something this yuri manages to convey. DO NOT MISS IT and yeah did have a fun time reading through this and gets the whole thing done in 22 chapters which I read in one sitting . It's not perfect but again sometimes you just read a "good" yuri and you'll love it way more than you think you'd have ever thought it to be.
And yeah expecting ANY focus and flesh on characters beyond the fine shyts in a 22 ch yuri and its YOUR FAULT of having such crazy expectations.

After an absolutely fucking amazing modern shonen example of the Shibuya incident does this half season can have its own identity and be an really enjoyable season?? Mostly yes and thank god JJK s3 part 1 came out as a really good addition to the Jujutsu Kaisen series. To a season without any Gojo or Sukuna being the selling point and grab the audience's interest was a question for me but this does the job. on details was a good approach for season 2 but was unpolished but this time it doesn't do the same mistake. Thank god Mappa gave them time for the animators to cook cause this isn't a concern this time.
The action choreography is also not a concern cause we eating good this season. Sure there are the usual "which fight should be given more priority" questions and pacing issues which are more problematic this season but when it comes to the way the action is choreographed and designed with some quirky shots is really amazing to check out. We do get more into character's and the inner turmoil they face but don't sell me enough. It's still "half-baked" in my eyes which might be delved more in the coming cour I believe. Higuruma was a great addition and the backstory helps but obviously the plot is predictable sometimes. I liked the score, it has this tensed vibe to it regarding the seriousness of the whole culling game arc. The expositon dump at first although quite a lot is something that doesn't become a concern. The narrator yapping while the most beautiful action is being shown is kinda problematic for me who's a sub watcher yk. Sure there is some humor here and there and although it didn't stick well for me but again not a major complaint to be talking about for a tournament arc which is pretty serious with its stuff.
Might not be as great as the previous season but STILL a very good ride indeed. This cour is a step in the right direction and can't wait for the second cour and yap more in depth about it, and although not a manga reader feels like that might fare better than this. Anyways would recommend and truly becoming in the talks of one of the great modern shonen anime.

KAGURABACHI
I remember knowing about this manga first through it's memes before the first chapter even aired. The memes got over and so I moved on with life forgetting this manga ever existed. Until after 2 years of publishing I actually got to know about the manga being actually good and peak like the memes unironically stated. So I had to give it a shot
I've currently read till chapter 69 of the manga so far and all i can say that ITS ACTUALLY FUCKING GOOD for a shonen manga!
The basic plot of this manga is about a boy named Chihiro and his quest to seek the

6 enchanted blades made by his father(which are really powerful and can become a threat if in enemy's hands) and seek vengeance on the hishaku ( a group of sorcerers)
Unlike a lot of shonen manga/anime that take 50-60 chapters or the first season to finally truly start becoming a great series (like jujutsu kaisen with it's shibuya incident arc), Kagurabachi actually provides all those things you need in a great shonen series with impressive action sequences and panelling, gorgeous art, plot twists to keep you engaged with the plot, and a pretty cool power system, character developments within the first 30 chapters
The first arc(which is like 15 chapters) gives a pretty good introduction to the world of kagurabachi and the 2nd arc just makes you realize that KAGURABACHI IS THE REAL shit!
The thing is even after the 2nd arc kagurabachi is still going strong, with even crazier reveals and action sequences.
Can't wait for how Hokazono (the mangaka) goes forward with this incredible piece of work
