Extremely entertaining murim manhwa that I encourage everybody to read.
Story: 9/10
Even though the story is very basic, the thing that distinguishes this manhwa is its dry surreal comedy. The dialogue is extremely fun to read, and there are usually no info dumps like most murim manhwa.
Art: 9/10
Art is very fluid and vibrant, the backgrounds are beautiful. The character designs are really good, and I like the art style as well. The art also tries its best to translate the surreal comedy.
Character: 10/10

Oh boy. Another return/reincarnate/transmigration esque story? Well 'Return of the Mad Demon' does it hella well.
This manhwa is just a bunch of laughs, satisfying decisions and some fire art. MC is actually mad and a demon. And its just dumb fun to follow his crazy stunts. IDK what else to say, just check it out xD Story: 8 Not a clear plot other than a series of events atm. ...

▶Summary and recommendation: ----------------------------------------------------------------- This is a very satisfying power fantasy with a somewhat unique main character, and some well placed humour. I wholeheartedly recommend this to fans of power fantasies and fans of the low power cultivation subgenre. I also recommend this to anyone new to the genre with the caveat that it suffers from the problems every other power fantasy does. The protagonist being as powerful as he is means there is little tension and it is difficult to be invested in battles asides from just wanting to 'see a badass do badass ...

I usually like these type of stories but this is just boring. It feels like 80% filler. Most of the chapters involve the MC beating up "perverts" as some kind of joke. The story is directionless. The MC's motivations are baffling. He will attack random clans because he's cranky? It really comes across like a spoiled child. The skill progression is laughable. MC is a god from the first chapter and that's the end of it. MC will never struggle. MC will never be injured. There's no leveling up since it's unnecessary. I have graduated from the realm of pictures and have now ascended to realm of lightnovels.
Story is basically typical regression with powers and knowledge of the future yada yada yada. But it is different in the sense that the main character is genuinely an insane person. YI ZAHA is genuinely the goat I have never loved a character so much, he has so much spontaneity and its always like a genuine delight when he is up to some shenanigans. Honestly, I have no idea why this is so popular or rated so highly. I got bored within the first 10 chapters. admittedly, that might be because I was coming off of manhwa with more depth and complexity like surviving romance, but to me, this manhwa feels like it's just meandering around. no stakes, the mc is op as hell. where is this manhwa even going? I don't usually write reviews but this manhwa is honestly my moodbooster every week. The story plot hasn't gone to the point where I can say it's a masterpiece, but i gave this manhwa a solid 8 because the humor and the bluntness of the MC is pure gold. Claps to the author for making this hilarious and extremely crazy menace. The artstyle is also neat, you can read it very comfortably and the layouting is really decent.

This manhwa is very good, the main character makes you laugh with how random and sadistic he is.
Story: 7/10. The plot is simple but entertaining, although certain aspects are sometimes left out and then appear suddenly. Art: 9/10. I really like the art, it's very well done and the battle scenes are awesome. Characters: 8/10. This Manhwa is my favourite Martial World category. The protagonist very funny charming and unpredictable (which makes this series entertaining). The other characters are interesting and have their specialty that readers may loves all of them both men and women.
The story progresses quickly, not boring, the skill and power value moves up quickly. The story is not much unique but really enjoy reading even if you can predict the results. (I don’t mind read this series twice) The arts style very nice so I gave 10/10 for the art and character design. I already re-read this manhwa again and still finds it fun Still wait for SS2!

Story: 9/10: Basic story but every part is juicy. Not very twisted but very enjoyable. Non stop action manwha. Dialog is extremy fun and i am enjoying the depth of it. Actual review: Story 6/10 So far, the story lacks direction and has a few promises that are loosely strung over the protagonists head. As it is common in this type of murim tale, there is the demonic cult leader that is a looming threat. Even in his previous life, the protagonist never faced him so it is kind of a detached goal so far (there is no personal stakes or narrative tension about it). This is not too much of an issue as this is a kind of parody comedy manhua. And thankfully, Mad Demon is very aware of the tropes it commonly operates ...

Is it fun watching a lvl 100 smurf in the beginner area?
Thats what it feels like these first 30 chapters. No overarching narrative. Every fight ends the same. No challenge or stakes! Characters- Cha Sungtae/10: Jaha is pretty generic, there was a lot of opportunity to flesh him out (Oh hes an errand boy for an Inn, who owns the Inn, what happened to his relatives, DID HE HAVE ANY MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS AT ALL) but so far, he is cardboard typical loser-turned- smug regressor mc. I was hoping for some direction but there isn't, I don't the MC will ever struggle because a certain somebody that they hyped up for a good chunk of what I read died immediately by our MC.
