Also sometimes labelled as a splatter, the main focus of the manga is well the blood, guts and dismembered body parts. Shock is a key element of this genre. Movies such as the SAW series are famous for the difficult-to-watch torture sequences, but what a bout the manga? This list is compiled of some of the most gory manga I have seen that aren't pornographic.

Just manga that are creepy af. Good writing is optional. DECENT writing is optional. The spook is all that matters.

Can be creepy in terms of visuals, atmosphere/tension, or content matter (e.g. dystopian, psychological horror, etc)

Manga that are not very long that you can read in one sitting.
Lots of short story collections, 1-8 Volume series, and oneshots. One sitting does not mean a short time mind you.

I binge read most of these in one sitting. But not all of them. However i will include ones that i think could probably be read in one sitting.

Horror manga without supernatural entities such as ghosts,zombies, or vampires.

Nice, interesting, or otherwise worthwhile stories that you can knock out in a sitting and might not have heard of. Please consider checking out the respective authors' other work as well!

A collection of short and/or bingeable horror manga to knock off for October/MALoween! I've kept each entry on the shorter side so they can be read in a single sitting or over the day. I've tried my best to give a variety of horror subgenre ranging from BL, Monsters, Youkai, Ghosts, all the way to Murder or Body Horror.

• Some of these Manga contain an array of sensitive topics and vary in graphic content, so please read these series with care.

Studio JG, powstałe w 2006 roku, na początku swojego istnienia znane było z wydawania magazynu o mandze i anime „Otaku”. Po czasie ich działaność rozszerzyła się o polskie komiksy inspirowane stylem mangowym oraz doujinshi komedie oparte na wcześniej powstałych już tworach (np. Akatsukiss inspirowane Naruto, Dead Not inspirowane Death Note).
W 2009 postanowili wydać mangę „Hetalia”, co rozpoczęło ich drogę w zostaniu jednym z największych wydawnictw mangowych w Polsce.

Manga featuring characters who are scientists of any kind, mainly in science fiction and horror settings. Often wearing white lab coats, they work in laboratories, research facilities, clinics, or hospitals with their goal of helping others, expanding human knowledge, or conducting experiments of varying ethical nature. Whether they're mad or not, one thing is certain: they are always involved in something outside the scope of modern science.

This list includes manga where scientist characters are either protagonists or have at least some considerable plot relevance.

Please note that the majority of the entries on this list contain heavy topics or disturbing imagery, including but not limited to gore, body horror, medical horror, suicide, cannibalism, SA, CSA, as well as non-sexual nudity.

Manga featuring various kinds of fictional parasites. Expect gross-looking, intelligent life forms seeking human hosts to survive, parasitic worms resembling the real ones, and any disgusting stuff you can think of. These parasites can either exploit their hosts to satisfy their needs or enter into a symbiotic relationship with them, turning it into a mutually beneficial one.

This list is limited to depictions of non-human parasitic organisms that require almost constant contact with their host in order to survive and prosper (or, as we call them in biology, obligate parasites). This means no vampires will be featured here.
