I am Skullcap, I spend most of my free time playing retro games and watching retro tv shows/movies.
Gaming History:

I played a lot of PS2 and PS1 games growing up, the first game I ever touched being Crash Bandicoot 2 on the PS1 when I was 3 in 2004, and since then I've had a passion for video games as a whole. After playing the Xbox Live Arcade for some time in 2009, I eventually got into the Virtual Console on the Wii when I was about 9 years old in 2010, which introduced me to all the NES and SNES classics, which led to me begging my parents to buy me an N64, where I became obsessed with OOT and Majoras Mask.
Eventually, I would get into various games, like Minecraft PvP, Counter Strike, osu!, which was fun for a while but I eventually started to lose my interest in gaming as a whole, which made me think I was just growing older and losing interest naturally over time, but then I discovered RetroAchievements after a friend told me about it, and it has reignited my passion in gaming. It helped me realize that my problem wasn't that I was done with gaming, but that modern games started to appeal to me less and less over time, especially when there exists a near infinite catalogue of gems from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s that I have never touched in my life.
So that's the summary of my love for video games and why I spend my time beating games on RetroAchievements.
Stuff I watch:
I've always loved cartoons, growing up watching SpongeBob, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, etc, and as I grew older I started watching stuff like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park, King of the Hill, etc, so I will always love those shows above all else.
As you can see from my anime list I went on to spend a lot of time in my teenage years watching various anime, with my all time favorites being Monster, Hajime no Ippo, Death Note, early episodes of One Piece, Cowboy Bebop, and Berserk (1997).
Nowadays, I am 25 years old and plan to spend the free time I have doing the things I enjoy most, which is watching retro stuff and playing retro games.
