omg sorry for the super late reply!! (⸝⸝⸝O﹏ O⸝⸝⸝) felt really exhausted previous week and wasnt really in the mood to talk to anyone
but ooh space junk collection actually sounds like such a unique premise! ♡ I love when sci-fi focuses on the more mundane but necessary aspects of space exploration rather than just the flashy stuff~ (´∀`) character-driven shows with good visuals are totally my thing, so you've definitely sold me on it!
and aww I'm so glad you enjoyed Nagi no Asukara too! the underwater world-building in that show is just breathtaking~ sounds like we both have a thing for shows with stunning environmental storytelling (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
yay for adding Summer Ghost to your list! just prepare some tissues because that short film does NOT mess around with the emotional impact~ it's only 30 minutes but packs such a punch (⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝) definitely curious to hear what you think of it when you watch it!
aww haha yeah Sailor Moon is one of those series that's always on the 'someday' list! and omg yes Violet Evergarden definitely hits different on a rewatch - you catch so many emotional details you missed the first time ♡
ooh I've never heard of Planetes! what's it about? always love discovering underrated gems that don't get enough love (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
for my hidden gems... Nagi no Asukara is absolutely stunning - the underwater visuals and the way it handles coming-of-age themes is just soo goood
and Summer Ghost is a beautiful short film that completely destroyed me emotionally in like 30 minutes.. totally i recommend (⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)
OMG, you have impeccable taste!! (´♡‿♡`) i heard Welcome to the NHK and Mushishi are such good shows too, i will definitely giving them a shot ✧♡(◕‿◕✿) I'm so happy to meet someone who appreciates them.
Hmm, for me... I think I'll always have a super soft spot for Sailor Moon and Violet Evergarden, they give me all the emotional feels (。•́‿•̀。) ♡ What about you?? Any other hidden gems or comfort shows you’d totally recommend? ~♡
ahh that's totally fair! ♡ honestly sometimes the hype around certain series doesn't match everyone's taste and that's completely okay~ (´∀`) thanks for the reddit link though, that's really thoughtful! maybe i'll check it out someday when i'll start watching Fate series~ what are some series you actually do enjoy? always curious about what clicks with different people! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
ooh the Fate series! that's such a commitment hehe (´∀`)
how are you finding it? i keep hearing it's amazing but also super confusing with all the different routes and timelines, which one would you recommend starting with? and honestly i'm currently bouncing between a few shows as usual (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) but currently watching kaoru hana wa rin to saku and liking it so far! ♡
aww that's really mature of you to reflect on that! honestly we all say things we regret when we're younger. the fact that you can look back and see how you've grown shows a lot of character ♡ i totally get being passionate about shows we love (i see that naruto love) but its better to respect when someone disagrees with you which anime you like and they didnt, since that what makes anime community a community (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) speaking of anime though, i see you watched a lot of series: what other shows are you into these days?
On the contrary i feel that im honour bound to honour the studio and the seiyuu's for the hard work that they put in for an anime that i enjoyed.
Even though i doubt they would ever see it its still the right thing to do.
