Synopsis

A peasant named Hanbei asks a girl named O-haru for her hand in marriage, but O-haru confesses that she is already thinking of another man named Masakichi from a neighboring village. When Hanbei seeks out Masakichi, he finds that Masakichi possesses a sword and the skills to use it, despite being a peasant.

The large success of Gantz comes from the mystery and its evolving characters. While many of the characters were first annoying and hard to watch onscreen, Gantz had that element of mystery in what the Gantz was, and the motivations of 100 points that made you continue. Gantz:G was a carbon copy of the Original, even the missions seeming the same. So when it came down to it, people were hardly interested, as there was nothing to watch it for, the setting and characters not having a change. As a fans, i don't mind if author milking this franchise. I even enjoy Gantz G but not this manga.

First it's setting to shogunate era contradict with event of Gantz origin which is originate from sick young girl German aristocrat who got vision to create mathematical advance to build Gantz.

Another thing it's contradict which is there's no time travel or alternate universe from original series. So who build those tech for them? It's breaking the lore of Gantz itself

What I imagine is they should use low tech technology to fight against those alien (Japanese youkai)

Otro experimento para intentar seguir sacando algo de la franquicia Gantz. En esta ocasión se trata de Gantz en el periodo Edo de Japón, lo cual se contradice con la franquicia original, donde hizo falta una tecnología futurista para crear todo, pero dejando esto de lado, definitivamente Gantz:E es bastante mejor que la anterior serie "Gantz:G" donde la creatividad brillaba por su ausencia.

Importante destacar que si bien la historia sigue a cargo de Hiroya Oku, en este caso el arte está en manos de Jin Kagetsu, por lo que se puede notar una considerable diferencia en el dibujo de gantz, y esta serie paralela.
