| fine SP ^ ^ Luffy facing the other side and getting the ball in his a$$ was big rofl!! Ussop's nose getting in the way was quite funny too! Sanji being distracted by looking at Nami's stuff then hitting the ball then going immediately to Nami without rounding the bases was quite funny too! Robin using the 100 flowers trying to catch the ball was kinda funny too. BIG BIG BIG ROFL @ when Luffy hit the ball then the bat broke! Gomu Gomu no Home Run ftw!! xDDD Buggy getting the ball in his face wasn't half bad too xDDD zama miru! 5/5 SP! The seiyuus(voice actors) were quite weird in this SP!! but guess that is one of the things which make this SP funny! xDD |

Just love BonClay narration of every thing especially where: Robin use her cien flores technique to stop the ball & the "Gomu Gomu no Home Run" from Luffy I also loved the way Zoro used his Santoryu technique. I give it 9/10 |

| Doesn't match up to Samurai Champloo's take on baseball but still very stupid & funny. Usopp's & Sanji's part were my favorites & Bon Clay speaking for characters like Nami was amusing. 6/10. |

| If Luffy was the lead-off batter, and Zoro was the second batter, how come Luffy comes to pitch while Zoro is on a baze? Even with two outs, it'd still be the seventh batter at most Then again – they seem to be short on players |

| Well this is a first for me because I'm speaking on a short on one of the One Piece films and this was a bonus feature on the disc for movie 5, for my thoughts on the latter, see my post on the thread respectively. Anyways this is a 5 minute short that played before the movie in question, the premise is simple: the Straw Hats are playing a Baseball game against Arlong and his crew. That's about it. My overall thoughts? Well considering the movie was a lot darker than the short that came before it and I never thought I'd cover Baseball in something like One Piece, it's definitely an experience and a first for me. Put simply,it's a hilarious short, we weirdly enough Buggy and Bon Clay as the commentators of this game and the only characters that speak in this entire short as the short is giving the illusion that we are watching a real baseball game and we are looking at the game from the commentators perspective, meaning we can only see what Luffy and the others are doing onscreen but can't hear what they are saying with Bon Clay hilariously providing in character voices for the Straw Hats during the game, highlights including Zorro just batting like he's normally fighting opponents and just wielding three bats in general, Luffy literally breaking the bat and then using his Devil Fruit powers to knock the power out of the park and make a homerun for the rest of his crew, Sanji of course ignoring the pitcher in favour of being in Nami's presence, Usopp's nose causing him to lose the base he's attempting to slide to. The list goes on for me. XD Had a lot of fun with this short it's essentially a silly but fun short and I was laughing quite a bit there. I give this short in particular a 7/10. |
