Well, Yuu got to transform into Creamy Mami for the first time in a long while, but she decided that she didn't want to have to hide a secret like she used to, so Nega and Posi granted her wish to remove the new ability that she developed.

Kidokoro developed feelings for Megumi, but in the end, he kept them to himself, as he felt that getting in the way of Shingo and her would be wrong.

Overall, this was pretty enjoyable, especially if you're a Creamy Mami fan.

Kind of torn on this one. What I loved about the series' ending was it stuck to its principles and Mami stayed gone. Having her randomly return in this kind of feels like it cheapens the impact of her final concert. But I get it, the franchise is called Creamy Mami, they kind of had their hands tied. It'd be like making a Sailor Moon movie with no Sailor Moon. Still, I was hoping it would be all about Megumi's movie and Yuu and Toshio. But on the other hand it did give us the great scene where Yuu was offered her powers back (still not sure how the cats could grant her permanent magic?) but she chose not to accept them because she wanted to live as herself and her love with Toshio was enough magic for her. That really helped develop her character. And on that, it was cool to see all the characters aged just slightly. They did a nice job of that, making them still look like how we know them but just different enough to believe a year or two has passed. That's not easy to pull off. Also just the art as a whole was great. They really went all in with the budget and made this final special look extra nice.

Great end scene too with Yuu and Toshio finally getting a kiss. Though I did find it odd/funny that when Mami disappeared for good no one on the movie set was asking what happened to her lol. She just stops showing up randomly and they go on to finish the movie like nothing happened. Kind of funny. Lastly the OP song, ハートのSEASON, f-ing rocks. Amazing, upbeat, and catchy song. Great little montage of Yuu and Toshio hanging out in various settings too. Honestly I'd watch a whole season going forward of just the two of them hanging out, they're a great pair.

what a great ending to a great anime, but what a shame that we didnt get to see a kiss between megumi and shingo, only an implication in this case, and yuu and toshio, because the scene was cut short. I liked how the abscense of mamoru was justified but i still would have like to see him at least once, like in a scene reading yuu's letter, those are my only complaints, the rest of the OVA was great, i loved how they focused on megumi rivalry with mami finally giving her the chance to shine over mami, and there were so many great moments: seeing an slightly taller yuu graduating from elementary school, kidokoro being so determined and taking the initiative for megumi sake, shingo playing it cool like usual, midori being gentle and caring like usual, ai getting some needed screen time, toshio being so calm over mami sudden comeback and so clever handling the situation once she's gone for good, poji and nega making a comeback, again, to save the day, even the director got time to shine, and finally, yuu deciding that she doesnt want to rely on magic but on love, what a great ova and an excellent farewell to morisawa yuu and company, i give it an 8 out of 10.
