| I disagree, I don't know what country you live in, but in this country, the power truly lies in the hands of the people(mainstream ideas/ideals instead of more radicalized government{i.e. communism}). While I am sure that there is SOME corruption, as there is in all countries, it is not very widespread at all. If the system is so corrupt, then how are presidents with different ideals elected every 4 years. Whats corrupt about it? Some person unbeknownst to us behind the scenes pulling the strings? I think not. As for Communism vs. Capitalism, yes, Communism is soooo much better. I'd rather live in a more corrupt and unequal country that killed millions of it's own civilians before World War II, more than the U.S. has ever done in it's entire 200+ year history. :d |

| True, that could be improved,I agree. But most of the time the electoral college usually goes the same sway as the popular vote. Except when it mattered (2000 *cough*cough*) -.- |

| the problem with this country is people who don't accept any view but their own. hence how Bush got elected twice and royally screwed us. but it's no good using what if's the most we can do now is read up on all the issues and form opinions based on that-not someone's past problems or ordeals. also we, as a people, have to be more accepting of other's beliefs. we do ,after all, share a planet and waging war right and left isn't doing anything but useing money and lives. |
