| Most of this episode centered around the conversation between Purome and Deianera. The problem is that those two have pretty much the same thoughts and speak in a similar monotone voice, it felt like one person having a conversation with themselves. I suppose that is to be expected with conversations between psychic types but it all seemed so very easy. The one point of contention was that the Iron Tribe blew up a star. I would have liked to hear more conflict... The battle between the Nodos was fairly good although there was little collateral damage. It seems as if Cerberas is the strongest indeed and Bellcross relied on Mehitaka to save his but a few times. The only other point in the episode was the hostile behavior of Peato. |
| I liked this episode more than about the last eight or so; it seemed like things were actually happening, progressing, stuff that we saw was changing what we saw. More moving plot, less sluggish battles. I'm increasingly getting the feeling, though, that the Nodos are actually almost irrelevant to what the series is really about; after all, 21 episodes in and none of them are dead, and the only real significant change is that Mehitaka changed sides. All they actually do is queue up to fight (except Age, who destroys Bronze Tribe nests by the dozen whenever they appear in ever greater numbers). They're basically McGuffins disguised as mecha, designed to inject action to an epic story about following your destiny. I suppose it's supposed to be exciting, but surely I'm not the only one who finds the Nodos fights dull, and is watching because he wanted this to basically be a serious space opera type thing in the vein of Crest of the Stars? Oh, and has anyone got/seen a definition of what exactly they mean by 'The Starway'? I've been operating under the belief that it was just a navigation system, but some of this episode's dialogue seems to indicate it's more than that. If so it would appear to explain why Deianeira's ability to lead them off the starway is so incredible to everyone. |
| I think the starway is just a network of wormholes that criss cross the galaxy. This episode revealed that they can form and die alongside stars and it seems as if they were conceived by the golden tribe to encourage interaction between civilizations. |
| I actually liked this episode a lot more than the majority of the series, as well. And I definately agree that the Nodos fights are dull. But after seeing this episode it sort of got me thinking about the themes in the series, a lot of the dialogue never made sense to me in the first place. But maybe that is just your mom. |
| I thought that the Starway was pretty much functional throughout the duration of the series. Whenever the battleships warped through space and appeared with blue tails of light following them, that was travelling through the Starway right? And yet Dianeira and Purome Ou said that their aim was to revive the Starway. I'm guessing they mean that the Starway's purpose, as Asteron proposed, was to encourage interaction between civilizations but now it's being used as a mere transport tool, and that is why 'revival' of the true Starway is necessary? I really wonder why the Golden Tribe sent the Nodos to the Silver and Iron Tribes. It seems to result in conflict more than anything else, and not harmony or any inter-mingling of civilizations whatsoever. |

| it appears that the silver and iron tribe has formed an alliance or something. and now i think the next few episodes would center around the nodos, and stopping them from going frenzy. who knows though. im hoping for the golden tribe to make an appearance in these next few episodes. for what? idk, stopping the nodos? |

| What terrible timing for reconciliation. To be honest, I think I actively hate Dhianeila. |
| This is my favorite episode of the series so far. |
| The negotiations begin. Dhianeila's faction pursuing reconciliation with the Tribe of Silver are humanity's last hope now that her arrogant brothers are dead. For a tribe so "anti-emotion", their leading warmongers are driven by it; Rom Ror is salty his defeat at planet Olone (and the Tribe of Gold forsaking the Tribe of Silver), Yuty wants to fight so her love (Karkinos) doesn't have to, and Phaetho O is salty over Dhianeila's physic attack on him. Meanwhile, Prome O has a lot of emotional control and pursues reconciliation. The interaction of lives from different planets is what creates their universe's method of interstellar travel. |

| Interesting ep. Like many have said, the plot really progressed this episode. So much for Belcross being the strongest. Nearly gets his ass handed to him if it wasn't for Melantik. It was interesting to see someone actually shove their hands into someones mouth trying to rip them apart. At least we finally get to see more about the Tribe of Heroes. Cause this whole time, it seemed Age had some time of connection with Belcross but we never really got to explore it or the other ones either. Im hoping the next few eps go into detail. |
