| Such an amazing episode, I felt so bad for THX and I honestly hate Masaki's father, I don't know it feels so wrong to treat something so similar to human so horribly. If they are clearly showing emotions that clearly means that they have become sentient. That is not a tragedy that is a miracle, androids and humans should be equal in my opinion. Such an amazing anime and I'm honestly so happy that Masaki came back to his senses and stopped being so negative about androids because all of the androids in this show like Sammy for example were just so so likeable. Amazing anime. |
| Ngl Masaki's whole reasoning for his views felt really underwhelming and immature. He discriminated against robots because his android friend stopped talking to him? Even though he knew it was because his father commanded it not to and there was literally nothing it could do? Come on. It would've been one thing to be wary of it because of his hurt but writing off AI as a whole? It would've made more sense if he held that belief because of his father's influence even if he initially saw the robot as a friend. The whole series has been thought-provoking and this is how it ends? Rikuo didn't point out that Masaki had been lying to him the whole time. Idk if it's intentional but the fact that Tex has marks on its face that look like tear-stains is sad. |
