This one is for the 20+ girlies that sometimes find an anime, know is complete garbage, but its elevated garbage that lets us reminisce about being 14 and reading smutty fantasy romance novels. These animes are not smutty for obvious reasons, but here, enjoy. I feel ashamed to like these animes, but I just had to create a stack once the count was not 1 anymore.
Also, these are just those weirder plotted romances, actual good normal romances have 1000 interest stacks, these are for the freaky gals that can't stand as much cringe as before

This stack will be tracking all of the new romance anime that releases this year. Only tracks anime confirmed for 2026. (Doesn’t contain sequels only romance anime that started in 2026)

9 times out of 10 it's not tagged because the source material was a light novel or video game (even otome games), with the other time being the mistaken misbelief that BL and GL don't get published in Shojo and Josei imprints. This happens even when said light novels are published under an explicitly shojo/josei light novel imprint (eg Kadokawa Beans Bunko, B's Log Bunko, Kadokawa Ruby bunko, Ichijinsha bunko Iris, Cobalt bunko, Kodansha x White Heart bunko, Fujimi Ladies bunko, etc). There's probably more on the site, but these are what I could remember for now. May make a part 2 at some point.

There are a max of 13 episode for the season some may have another season of the same length.

It's Shoujosei Renaissance! So many adaptations are coming out this year, so I decided to make an interest stack to keep a track of them. Hope it helps someone out there! Includes (and I keep updating) every shoujo, josei and joseimuke adaptations that are being announced for 2026.

I will do a stack for each year, starting with 2023 until present.

Stack rules:

1. Only the first season of an anime will be listed, with the exception being if it's a Sequel, (Remakes and Spin-off's will also be included.).

2. The anime or sequel must have started airing in 2026 to qualify for this stack.

3. Original anime will not be lncluded unless it is very clearly targeted at a female audience.

4. BL, Shounen-Ai, Yaoi, GL, Shoujo-Ai, Yuri, Erotica and Hentai will not be listed.

5. No anime shorts, only series, ONA's, OVA's and Movies with a duration of at least 10 minutes will be listed.
