Hmm, I’m not so sure.
It’s another one of those episodes where the Pokémon themselves are practically the only protagonists. The idea itself isn't bad, I actually like it when the franchise tries to explore their personalities and dynamics a bit more without relying on human characters, but after watching several of these specials back-to-back, the formula starts to feel quite repetitive. And here, unfortunately, that’s exactly how I felt.
As usual, Meowth is in the mix, acting essentially as the Pokémon's spokesperson; since he can speak human language, he facilitates communication during the adventure. The trouble is, this has become a recurring trope in these specials,

much like the setup where Pikachu acts as a sort of impromptu leader, rallying the other Pokémon to solve whatever problem pops up along the way.
This time, the story revolves around another relatively simple adventure, with Pikachu and his companions trying to handle the situation at hand. It’s not a bad or unpleasant watch, but I didn't feel there was much here that really grabbed my attention. It’s the kind of episode where you watch it, get the premise, see the events unfold, and then, when it’s over, you’re left with that feeling of, "Is that it?"
The animation didn't particularly impress me, either. It isn't ugly, and it certainly gets the job done, but it’s far from being a highlight. Visually, everything is quite functional, lacking any major moments that make this special stand out from the rest. And perhaps that’s one of the biggest issues for me: when you start watching several of these specials, you increasingly realize they tend to follow very similar structures.
You have Pikachu leading the group, the Pokémon facing a problem, Meowth helping with communication, and an adventure that aims to be fun and lighthearted. On its own, that can work just fine. The problem arises when you watch multiple episodes using this same formula in a row. Certain situations that would likely be charming in isolation end up feeling tedious once you realize you’ve seen something similar so many times before. That’s why I feel my experience with this special was somewhat hampered by the context. Perhaps if I had watched it in isolation, without having just gone through several other similar specials, my impression might have been a bit more positive. However, watching them all back-to-back, I grew quite weary of the formula and found myself wishing for something with a bit more creativity or personality.
Ultimately, Pokémon: Pikachu's Summer Festival isn't a bad episode. It’s charming, has its fun moments, and succeeds in delivering an adventure focused on the Pokémon themselves. I just didn't find it particularly memorable. To me, it’s the kind of special you watch and quickly forget.
Anyway, I don't have much else to add. If you enjoy this sort of simple, Pokémon-led adventure, you’ll likely find something to like here. But after so many specials following a similar formula, I admit I’m pretty tired of them. Watching several in a row, as I did, definitely wasn't the best way to enjoy this one.
In the end, I’d still recommend watching it and drawing your own conclusions.

Hmmm, não sei não.
É mais um daqueles episódios em que temos praticamente apenas os Pokémon como protagonistas. A ideia em si não é ruim, e até gosto quando a franquia tenta explorar um pouco mais a personalidade e a dinâmica entre eles sem depender dos personagens humanos, mas depois de assistir a vários desses especiais em sequência, a fórmula começa a ficar bastante repetitiva. E aqui, infelizmente, senti exatamente isso.
Como de costume, temos o Meowth no meio dos Pokémon servindo praticamente como o porta-voz deles, já que consegue falar a língua humana e acaba facilitando a comunicação durante a aventura. O problema é que isso também já se tornou algo bastante recorrente nesses especiais, assim como a estrutura de colocar o Pikachu como uma espécie de líder improvisado, reunindo os outros Pokémon para resolver algum problema que aparece no caminho.
Dessa vez, a história gira em torno de mais uma aventura relativamente simples, com o Pikachu e seus companheiros tentando resolver a situação do momento. Não chega a ser algo ruim ou desagradável de assistir, mas também não senti que houvesse muita coisa aqui que realmente chamasse a atenção. É aquele tipo de episódio que você assiste, entende a proposta, vê os acontecimentos se desenrolarem e, quando termina, fica com aquela sensação de “era só isso?”.
A animação também não me impressionou particularmente. Não é feia e certamente cumpre seu papel, mas está longe de ser algo que eu destacaria. Visualmente, é tudo bastante funcional, sem grandes momentos que façam esse especial se sobressair em relação aos outros. E talvez esse seja justamente um dos maiores problemas para mim: quando você começa a assistir vários desses especiais, percebe cada vez mais que eles acabam seguindo estruturas muito semelhantes.
Temos o Pikachu liderando o grupo, os Pokémon enfrentando algum problema, o Meowth ajudando na comunicação e uma aventura que tenta ser divertida e leve. Individualmente, isso pode funcionar tranquilamente. O problema é assistir a vários episódios com essa mesma fórmula em sequência. Algumas situações que provavelmente seriam simpáticas se vistas isoladamente acabam ficando cansativas quando você percebe que já viu algo parecido diversas vezes.
Por isso, acho que minha experiência com esse especial acabou sendo um pouco prejudicada pelo contexto. Talvez se eu tivesse assistido a ele isoladamente, sem ter acabado de passar por vários outros especiais semelhantes, minha impressão fosse um pouco melhor. Mas, assistindo tudo em sequência, comecei a sentir bastante cansaço com a fórmula e fiquei esperando algo que trouxesse um pouco mais de criatividade ou personalidade.
No fim, Pokémon: Pikachu no Natsumatsuri não chega a ser um episódio ruim. É simpático, tem seus momentos divertidos e cumpre bem a proposta de apresentar uma aventura mais focada nos Pokémon. Só não achei que fosse particularmente memorável. Para mim, é mais um especial que você assiste e rapidamente esquece.
Enfim, não tenho muito mais o que acrescentar. Se você gosta desse tipo de aventura mais simples protagonizada pelos Pokémon, provavelmente vai encontrar algo para aproveitar aqui. Mas, depois de tantos especiais seguindo uma fórmula parecida, confesso que já estou bastante cansado deles. Assistir vários em sequência, como eu fiz, definitivamente não foi a melhor maneira de aproveitar esse especial.
No final, fica a recomendação de assistir e tirar suas próprias conclusões.
