Cong Hong Yue Kaishi

Truly a different Chinese serie, this serie is a bit like Demon Slayer in sense of destroying anomalies. Of course it is really different world and the aspects of these anomalies are different. But the main character makes the highest point of this show. The mystery behind him is unknown and we get to see it step by step. Good fighting scenes. Fast pacing of missions. Giving more depth into the main character. For those who got bored of these "cultivation" series of China base, and looking for a different story could also like it since this serie gave a definite new approach for another ... theme.

Our main character has an ilness or an anomaly which the serie pushed the answer of it to the viewers to decide which makes it unforeseeable events in the serie while we get to understand the base and the plot slowly. I would definitely say its a good idea to give it a try if got bored of classic cultivation themes.

I REALLY WANT THIS ANIME TO BE A GAME !!!

The animations is amazingly done, it feels like you're watching Resident Evil kinda, with more high technology. Like small horror, but with sci-fi. The effects while in battle, even the smallest movement on their face expression is nice done.

The story is unique as well with plot-twists. You follow a guy and his family. The guy get hired by some high profile military to defeat the enemies and monsters. Which makes it a very interesting story.

I love the intro song, it sounds like a Christmas song to be honest, but if you read the ... lyric it's actually a little dark lyrics to the song.

Really like the ending, but also hoping for a season two or a game release of this.

This was a fun watch. I really enjoyed the semi-creepy music, but altogether, the Donghua was more thriller than horror. The setting was as if the apocalypse happened in a cyberpunk world, and the plot overall was quite entertaining. The animation for the fights was pretty good, but 3D takes some time to get used to if you often watch 2D. I really like Lu Xin's family (?), and even the little sister grew on me. (My favourite character is still the mom for how supportive (?) she is, though.) One more thing: the main character is kind of overpowered, but not ridiculously, so that ... it gets boring. I definitely recommend people to watch this. Looking forward to season 2.
