Shiawase Sou no Okojo-san

These titles are either available in raw form only or have a number of episodes that have yet to receive decent official subs or fansubs. Any entries that are removed once subs become available will be linked below for convenience (with some of them only recently acquiring subs). Since a lot of people probably don't care too much about high quality subs and just want to be able to follow what's going on, I'll try to note whether there are poor or questionable quality subs. Shoujo--like all demographics--is incredibly varied, featuring a wide mix of stories, genres and themes. Its protagonists are no exception, with different personalities and backgrounds, and having both girls and guys in leading roles. I wanted to highlight some shoujo anime written from a male POV.

Also, I can't attest to the quality of the lower/more obscure series on here (especially since shoujo manga tend to receive pretty trash adaptations). So do keep that in mind.


And I should clarify that Cowboy Bebop and Code Geass are both actually original anime that simply have earlier shoujo manga versions. They both had promotional shoujo manga that began running a few months before their respective anime began airing.
