Tokyo Tribe 2

Anti-heroes living on the wrong side of the law. Competition between gangs and lots and lots of action and violence.  

Both are about different groups with GAR, charismatic leaders trying to seize control of a given area. Lots of violence (more sex in Tokyo Tribe 2) and crazy, over the top fight scenes. No real difference other than one is set in modern Tokyo and the other in late 16th century Japan. (Sengoku Basara is a bit lighter and slightly less twisted.) 

Golgo 13 has a very different pace than Tokyo Tribe 2 but it is still about one very GAR Mother F...... living on the wrong side of the law. 

These two shows have a great deal in common as far as setting, tone, and pacing, not to mention the culture. The urban lifestyle is a bit different, Tribe having a more gangster vibe, Durarara a more ordinary pop culture one. That being said, slow reveals of past relationships that hugely impact the story, the background concept of gangs at war with one another, and the presence of unexplainable superhuman characters appearing among the supporting or antagonistic characters. Both great, and definitely worth watching, if you liked either, giving the other a chance is highly recommended.  

The basic outlines are very similar with both of these stories. Both include gangs that hate and love each other and their top leaders friends with the other gangs' top leader. The fighting styles are very similar into the anime as well.  

You get an introspection into Japanese gangs through these 2 anime although in Tokyo Revengers the protagonist enters the gang and grows in rank while in Tribe the MC is already in I think that if you liked one and wanted more then check out the other for more gang stuff, Tokyo Revengers is more of a slow-burner and Tribe is wackier as it goes on. 

Both are about gangsters who protect their territory. Both MCs is a childhood friend of the boss.

Gangs, depravity, blood splatter, flying body parts, sex, a strange form a justice, giant economy size characters - just change the names and places. Violence Jack is a mid-80's Mad Max style post Apocalypse world where crazed, barbaric bike gangs rule the day bombing, blasting, shooting, raping, killing, killing, raping, and training sex slaves . . . until they meet up with the enigmatic giant demon thing, Violence Jack, who dispenses gory, blood splattered justice. Tokyo Tribe 2 is much the same only it is set in modern Tokyo and benefits from better character development but then it is a series and VJ a set of 3 OVA's. If you liked or were intrigued by one, you may well be interested in the other. read more 

Both have alike action style (maybe because of the same director), both are full of manlyness and similar dark humour. Also, the main boss in both is the same big fat guy. 

They both have gangs but air gear is more abt skating so its not voilent and it has some nudity like tokyo tribe 2 and they hav fighting parts and stuff pretty good anime if u like tokyo tribe 2 

Despite the very different story lines, the sound tracks are both of a hip hop genre where if you enjoyed one, you'll enjoy the other.  

Speed Grapher doesn't involve gangs per se but there are a lot of underhanded people grasping for power and money. They are both violent and twisted in the same direction.
