Kurogane Communication

In both stories the characters are practically just robots with personalities and each one has their own areas of specialization. Both have the theme of a post-apocalyptic world and humanity has stopped living on the planet for some specific reason. Both characters spend most of their time inside a hotel/building and usually most of the events take place inside the building but also extend outside when necessary. In both characters, they have to face the adversities of a world in ruins, as well as enemies such as robots/aliens, among other things, throughout the episodes. Finally, the tone of the comedy and adventure of both are similar in some aspects such as the interaction between the characters and the change from more serious, calm and agitated moments. read more 

Both shows are about the interaction of human and robot in a post apocalyptic world. Kurogane is more lighthearted with comedy elements while planetarian is more serious. 

A small group of people wander around a barren world and have intimate and reflective moments together.
