Interest Stacks  Anime that are so bad, you can't look away!   This is a collection of graduation projects, museum/art gallery films, and other experimental shorts. They generally don't contain any dialogue, and they're more focused around presenting artistic ability or sending a message than what most anime set out to do. They're generally all created by a single person, maybe a couple assistants, but not a big team. Commercial success isn't a driving factor in the creation of these shorts. Because experimental directors have recognizable styles I tried to avoid listing too many from any individual director. I think these are interesting to watch because they help show what anime can be.   My favorite shit anime that I've come to semi-unironically love. It's all trash. Was looking at some fan art one day and it came to my attention that fanart (and very good fanart) is an extremely good indicator of how important an anime is. Anime that tells a story in a completely new way or popularizes a gene or theme are more likely to be featured. This list has an extra preference for anime with strange plot and unsettling elements, including anything considered edgie. Plot and Message are valued highly, especially is expressed in a completely new way. Anime that is commentary on a gene or trope are also preferred on list. Commonly features stories that are dark or cruel in nature, but there are plenty of anime on the list that are not.   This is a compilation of Avante-Garde shorts that are unique, mind-blowing and addicting. These will give you a different POV on the world of animation.
